Born on 29th July 1985, Gerald Langiri has risen to become one of the top actors in East Africa and is the only actor to be nominated from this region at the AMVCAs 2015.

Prominent for his roles in Kenyan Blockbusters House of Langiri, where he played Harrison, and Fundimentals, where he played Joseph, Gerald is an award-winning actor who also writes a successful blog. He began his acting career in 2011, where he played a defense lawyer on the Swahili show Mashtaka. He went on to act in other projects such as Maisha, Rosa and Statehouse. In 2013 he hosted web-based talk show In the forest and also played the role of Mr Tembo in another web series titled Rispa.
