After thirteen thrilling episodes, Mubarak Ridwan, popularly known as Real Obey, emerged as the first-ever winner of Sabon Tauraron Arewa, a groundbreaking music competition designed to spotlight and nurture musical talents from Northern Nigeria.

Real Obey’s journey to victory
Born in Kano, Nigeria, Real Obey holds a diploma in Community Health, but music has always been his true passion. Determined to take his craft to the next level, he joined the show, where the legendary producer Amude Booth mentored him. Together, they crafted the hit song "87 Missed Calls", which became his winning track. When asked why he chose the song for the final voting round, Real Obey confidently stated, "I knew this song would make me a winner" —and it did!
