The thirteenth day in the Big Brother Naija house started on a relatively quiet note as housemates slowly got out of bed, tackled their morning chores and prepared for another Saturday in the house. As the day progressed, conversations around relationships, life after the house and the evening's party began to take centre stage.
08:00 am: Housemates start their day
With most housemates catching up on sleep, Mercedes was among the first to get moving and prepare breakfast. Later on, HoH Sheba began waking everyone up and reminding them to start their routines and clean up the house.
09:00 am: Araga opens up about his feelings for Goddessa
With the Saturday night link-up on everyone's minds, Bluethopia wondered what the housemates would be wearing for the big night. Meanwhile, Araga opened up about how his connection with Goddessa began in a chat with Abi.
He revealed that he initially entered the House determined not to get attracted to anyone. However, after seeing Goddessa without her makeup, he realised how beautiful she was and decided to make his move. Araga admitted that when he likes someone, he doesn't like to waste time and went straight to her bed that night.
He also spoke about wanting to see how their relationship develops outside the House, while Abi shared her own plans for life after the show, revealing that she hopes to have a cooking show and publish cooking books. Araga said he hopes to expand his business and start modelling classes.
10:00 am: Araga and Goddessa share a sweet moment
Araga and Goddessa's connection continued to shine as they spent the morning together. Goddessa playfully told Araga that he had left her to help clean the House and that she missed his company. The duo shared kisses and cuddles while discussing a conversation they had the night before.
Goddessa highlighted that she was sleepy, so she missed key parts of their chat, while Araga stated that the most important thing to remember was that they had agreed to focus on themselves and their connection.
11:00 am: Bells opens up about her struggles
Bells had an emotional conversation with Mercedes, Yusuf, and Martins about her reactions during conflicts in the House. She admitted that she struggles to control what she says when she's angry and doesn't enjoy getting into arguments, but feels it's difficult to simply ignore the conflicts around her.
When Mercedes suggested speaking to a psychologist, Bells dismissed the idea, saying she simply wants to go home. She revealed that she was packing her bags so that if another argument happens, she would be ready to leave. Martins and Mercedes tried to encourage her to stay, but Bells wasn't budging.
12:00 pm: Voting for MIPOW begins
As Bells informed a startled Flora about her plans to voluntarily exit the show, Flora gave her a pep talk and urged her to stay in the House and keep her head in the game. Shortly after, Biggie asked the housemates to gather in the lounge to vote for the season's first Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW). Each housemate was given a pen and paper and asked to name the housemates who fit the criteria stated, without discussing their choices with their fellow housemates.
Who will end up snagging the title?
1:00 pm: Temi Nkem embarks on a daunting task
After the MIPOW voting, the housemates dispersed around the house, while Temi Nkem and Keivo chatted about her cooking. Temi Nkem complained to Keivo about the housemates' reactions to the food she cooks, but Keivo encouraged her to keep going.
Temi Nkem then decided to treat the housemates to lunch: jollof rice and beef. Although she had never made it before, she's not one to turn down a chance to shine.
2:00 pm: Neche's food goes missing
Still on the topic of food, things started disappearing from the kitchen, beginning with Neche's food, which she had kept in the refrigerator. Neche questioned the housemates, but nobody admitted to taking it, leaving her furious. Sultex's food was also tampered with, raising more questions about what's happening in the kitchen.
3:00 pm: Yusuf opens up about Bells
While chilling with Goddessa, Araga and Martins, Yusuf opened up about his ship with Bells. He revealed that Bells only realised he was serious about her after they admitted they liked each other, but things took a turn when he noticed her flirting with other housemates. Yusuf said he decided they should end what they had after the drama with Tram.
Yusuf also asked Goddessa about her friendship with Sheba, which he was surprised to hear about. Goddessa explained that Sheba approached her because she needed someone to talk to and felt Goddessa was level-headed.
Bells told Tram to leave Goddessa alone, there are other girls in the house. He revealed that what’s making him go after Goddessa is the fact that Araga thinks he really has her.
4:00 pm – Wet dreams, Tik Tok dances and the Pool Party
Aikou told Martins that he has wet dreams to relief himself. They talk about the housemates and say Tram has changed.
Goddessa is dancing and Sultex teaching her a Tik Tok dance. Yusuf and Gerard join them.
Nomy, Temi and Cassi are hanging out in the bedroom, talking about the party tonight. Temi said that Keivo was splashing her with water at Thursday’s Pool Party and Bluethopia got on his shoulders. She added that no one would put her on their shoulders because she's big. Temi told Cassi that he’s too comfortable on her bed.
5:00 pm – The salon opens
HoH Sheba called the housemates to the main lounge so she can read the Lush Hair brief. The salon opens and the housemates go into the Lush salon.
Keivo gets ready to wash his hair by Abi. Nomy unplaits Bluethopia's hair.
Nomy and Tram start insulting each other again.
6:00 pm – Salon-time is a vibe
Bells unbraided Mercedes’ hair and Neche unbraids Cassi's hair. Neche said that she wouldn't fight like how they are fighting, she would say her peace, and no one would have her energy like that.
Chimsom, Yusuf and Sheba are dancing in the salon while Abi and Temi installed their wigs. Flora curled Oyin’s wig. Goddessa braided Sultex’s hair.
7:00 pm – Party outfits arrives
Biggie closes the salon.
Temi showed Chimsom her hair and he hyped her up. Temi asked Kamsy what she's cooking and she tells Chimsom that his girl can cook. He replied, saying Kamsy is not his girl. He continued to help Kamsy cook. Chimsom heard Nomy insulting Tram and mentioning Tram’s father. Chimsom said that she's messy because Tram's father died.
Sheba calls the housemates to the lounge to read the party brief. They are getting party clothes from Biggie, and they run to the storeroom to get their outfits and they get pizza.
8:00 pm – Getting ready to party
The housemates have one hour to get ready before the Saturday Night Link-Up starts. Wigs were installed. Make-up was done. Outfits were checked. It was all a group effort. Nomy did her make-up in the HoH loft. Kamsy wanted to tie her top and said she looks terrible.
9:00 pm – Nomy uninvited to the party
Sheba told Nomy that Biggie says she is not attending the party. The Saturday Night Link-Up starts. Many of the women are late for the party. The dance floor is lit.
Sultex, Goddessa, Chimsom and Bluethopia do the police man Tik Tok dance.
10:00 pm – The part is a hit!
The music stopped for a minute and the housemates shouted to the DJ: “We wanna party!” Some of the housemates who were seen dancing together were Sheba and Ricky, and Neche and Barry.
11:00 pm – Araga kisses Sheba
The party ended. The housemates started singing together in the Main Lounge.
Sheba suggested that they should play truth or dare. They dared Araga to kiss Sheba and he just gives her a baby kiss, they barely touched. Goddessa was dared to kiss a girl and she kissed Sheba.
Nomy was sleeping in the HoH loft.
