The bromance between Chimsom Chuka and Barry was blossoming early on Sunday morning. The duo’s chat went from past relationships to the present: Chimsom Chuka even opened up about Bluethopia.
8:00 am – It’s a slow Sunday morning
The day is off to a slow start. Most of the housemates are sleeping. Head of House (HoH) Neche wakes up. Barry, Chimsom Chuka, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky and Sheba are up too.
Oyin dances in the Main Lounge. Barry, Sheba, Ricky get ready for the day in the closet. Sheba enjoyed dancing in the closet. Goddessa had her cereal in bed.
Barry started making breakfast.
9:00 am – Chimsom Chuka and Barry talk about girlfriends
Chimsom Chuka and Barry were hanging out. The conversation started with their first impressions of each other. Chimsom Chuka revealed that he doesn’t know much about Barry and doesn't feel like Ricky is who he is. He feels like Ricky is having an arm’s length friendship with him.
Chimsom Chuka admitted that he is trying to regulate his emotions with Bluethopia. He said he really likes Bluethopia, and that he’s crazy and she's crazy.
Barry told Chimsom Chuka about his ex and that he really still cares for her and still has love for her.
10:00 am – The salon opens
Nomy and Abi were in the Garden Area talking about coffee. Nomy said she doesn't need anything to wake her up, her bills wake her up.
She told Abi that Keivo was a solid choice for Temi Nkem. He was doing things for her and she feels bad for him. She added that she has always knew Temi Nkem is funky and has bad character. According to Nomy, Barry said he has three balls and Neche is the white ball.
Nomy revealed that Cassi wanted to put his hands around her and she said no, she says she not giving him energy. Nomy says she likes him but his shoes turns her off.
Barry helped Neche to unbraid her hair in the Lush salon. Barry asked her about being a lawyer and she said now she wants to focus on her active clothing wear. They chatted about Neche moving to Lagos.
11:00 am – Barry advises Bluethopia about Chimsom Chuka
Temi Nkem is busy annoying Sheba while she is doing her hair. Barry unbraided Bluethopia’s hair after he is done with Neche’s. Abi came in to help do people’s hair.
While Abi was blow drying Keivo’s hair, Barry told Bluethopia to give Chimsom Chuka a chance to show his love to her.
12:00 pm – Exit diary sessions start
Biggie called Yusuf first to the Diary Room. He said that several people had misunderstood him, including Abi, Bluethopia and Chimsom Chuka. Him and Chimsom Chuka are on a good foot now. He said he doesn’t care if people misunderstand him. Sheba was next in the Diary Room, followed by Barry, Oyin and Tram.
During Oyin’s exit diary session, she told Biggie the nicknames she had given some of the housemates. Gerard is “Gigolo”, Bluethopia “Leggings”, Kamsy “Bole”, Chimsom Chuka “Puff Puff”, Ricky “Biggest Aura”, Goddessa “Aura” and Nomy is “Improper Fraction”.
1:00 pm – Kamsy is ready for gbas gbos
Kamsy, Sultex, Bells, Gerard and Temi Nkem were in the Diary Room.
Kamsy told Biggie believes that she deserves another week in the House. She said she has things to do and places to scatter. She added that a picture of her is painted by the housemates. She confessed that she was hurt by Gerard letting people get in his head.
After her diary session, she told Ricky what she told Biggie, how she will just scatter everything and be the person they think she is.
2:00 pm – Flora wants the best for Neche
Aikou, Godessa, Keivo, Flora and Ricky each had their turn to speak to Biggie.
Flora told Biggie she took wrappers from Sheba, Goddessa, Bluethophia, Keivo and Yusuf. She said Keivo is the only one that noticed, because his things are in order. She also took Temi Nkem's hair wrapper but she hasn't noticed.
According to Flora, all the housemates don't understand her. They are in her good books. She said that even when she's angry they calm her down. She said she just wants this week to be calm for HoH Neche.
3:00 pm – The salon closes; diary sessions continues
Araga and Abi were in the Diary Room. Abi said that if she survives the Live Show evictions this week, she'll cause chaos in the House. She told Biggie she’s been nice and peaceful, she'll show the real Abi in secret. She admitted that she wants to scatter everything. Biggie asked in what way? She said she will hide things.
4:00 pm – Chimsom Chuka opens up about life in the house
While waiting for Biggie’s next instruction, Chimsom Chuka had a chat with Abi and Bluethopia in the garden. He opened up about how he feels like he’s fighting for his life every day in the house.
He also revealed that he couldn’t remember the last time he cried, saying it had been about 10 years.
He later joined Keivo and Yusuf, continuing the conversation as the housemates waited for the evening’s events to unfold.
5:00 pm – Chimsom Chuka warns Gerard about Kamsy
Chimsom Chuka and Gerard had a whispered conversation about the ongoing drama between Gerard and Kamsy. Chimsom Chuka said that now that Gerard had “controlled the narrative,” he believed Kamsy was trying to take control of the story again.
He warned Gerard not to fall for Kamsy’s moves, while also pointing out that someone in the house has a loose mouth and had added extra details to a story involving him.
Gerard admitted that he had been feeling a bit down the previous day, but said he was in a better place now. He also expressed that he was glad Chimsom Chuka had his own situation going on while he tried to figure out his.
The conversation then turned to Bluethopia, with Chimsom Chuka admitting that he really likes her.
As the live eviction show drew closer, Gerard admitted that he hoped he wouldn't be going home. They also discussed this week's MIPOW, with Chimsom Chuka predicting that the title could come down to Sultex and Neche.
6:00 pm – One hour to eviction and plans are brewing
With just one hour to the live eviction show, the housemates began getting ready for the night.
Nomy had a chat with Cassi in the garden and admitted that she couldn't understand why she felt like she was being targeted so much in the house.
Upstairs in the bedroom, Ricky revealed a rather unusual plan. He said he intended to approach Abi and tell her that he is also married, adding that he has made it a personal mission to get close to one person every week before eventually detaching.
