Earlier today, it was war between Chimsom Chuka and Oyin. He had started doing exercises on her bed in the Garden and she got up and poured liquid on his bed in the Big Brother Naija S11 house. It didn’t end there. The back-and-forth went on. Later, the housemates shared their mixed feelings about the situation.
8:00 am – Goddessa summons Barry
Cassi told Goddessa and Gerard that Chimsom Chuka told Oyin during the first week she doesn't have content for Big Brother Naija.
Goddessa asked Aikou to call Barry.
Barry came to hang out with Goddessa in the Garden. He asked her about her leg. Goddessa told Barry that Chimsom Chuka disappointed her in the morning and she thinks that the Chimsom and Oyin fight went too far. She also said Oyin is used to this type of thing and that they are just seeking highlight.
Barry commented on how Goddessa was active today and she said she is a gym girl. He also said that he is tired of cooking and that Goddessa owes him food.
9:00 am – Housemates hard at work for the Wager
Sheba, Yusuf, Abi and Barry continue with cutting bottles for their Wager presentation.
Barry is in the kitchen. He brought Keivo a slice of bread and goes to eat on the Garden bed.
10:00 am – Good vibes, good music
The house is filled with music. Sheba is dancing to the music in the house and Goddessa joins her. Keivo and Cassi continues painting. Nomy paints while singing along with the music.
Bluethopia was singing along with the music in the Head of House (HoH) Loft.
Nomy measured Bluethopia using the material she would make the outfit from.
Abi and Barry continue with the Wager preps.
11:00 am – Diaries start with Bluethopia
Bluethopia confessed that she didn't see Kamsy being evicted on Sunday, they were going to have gossip session after the Live Show. Kamsy didn't get to say a proper goodbye. Neche leaving was also heartbreaking. They were her girls.
Biggie asked Bluethopia alliances in the house. She said she had thought Sheba and Goddessa would be friends but it seemed that the energy between them had shifted. She called Oyin and Flora weird. Bluethopia mentioned that Oyin has been travelling with a school bag which is questionable. She felt bad for the prize money being minimised because she wasn't putting her mic during parties.
Yusuf was next in the Diary Room. He said the Wager preps are hectic for him because he’s not artistic. He also said Neche leaving was a shock to the house. Yusuf also had a dream that Neche was coming back and he told Barry about it and he said he had the same dream.
12:00 pm – Nomy clears the air
In her diary session, Nomy told Biggie that she felt a bit ganged up against with all the punishment she had gotten. Some of the punishment was that she had not been included in some of last week’s diary sessions.
In regards to alliances, she said it seems as if the competitive housemates get listened to; she mentioned Chimsom Chuka, Cassi and Barry. She said it seems like whatever Chimsom Chuka says is the gospel. There are friendship groups: Oyin, Flora and Bells have a group, and Sheba, Goddessa and Temi are in a group.
Biggie gave Nomy a concession, she can take off the bench warmer outfit and be herself. Nomy said that with her not wearing the bench warmer outfit makes her feel like herself because fashion is a big part of her life.
Aikou told Biggie that the Conspiracy Hour on Monday was interesting. He said Sheba didn't advocate for Tram and Temi Nkem. It was strange that the housemates didn't advocate for their people. Yusuf was saving Bluethopia and he doesn't know where that came from.
1:00 pm – Oyin speaks out about Neche
Oyin said she wishes the diary sessions can be every day because she has to vent every day. Oyin told Biggie she was so angry and hurt that Neche left.
According to Oyin, before Neche had left she would come to Oyin and Flora to vent. She said Neche told them in tears that she was close with Goddessa, but after she won HoH Goddessa switched up on her. Oyin said Sheba and Goddessa made her reign hard and that she was hurt by Bluethopia not helping her out.
Oyin also said she tried everything to understand Chimsom Chuka but he makes it his mission to argue with her. She told Biggie that Chimsom Chuka woke her up and she put water in his bed. Biggie then said she had vandalized his property.
2:00 pm – Barry and Flora open up about alliances
Barry told Biggie that prize money being minimised is a good and bad thing. He said he didn't know people would actively breaking rules. According to him, the good thing about the matter is that people woke up, they need to work hard to win the tasks and get immunity.
He said the alliances he sees in the house are Sheba and Goddessa, and Oyin and Flora. He doesn't understand Oyin, because she's been doing things to get on some people’s toes and caused trouble where there is no need.
He told Biggie that he wants to be cool with Araga and asked for advice on what he should do.
In her diary, Flora said she did feel for Neche when she left, it was heart breaking. She wanted to see her in the finale, she really cared for Neche.
Flora said that she is happy they could save her friend, Bells, during the Conspiracy Hour. She said the alliances in the house are fake.
Biggie gave her a new mission as The Gambit: to dress up, do her makeup and look good this week.
3:00 pm – Keivo’s shoes are missing
He explained to Biggie what’s been happening between him and Temi Nkem. Biggie asked him if that chapter of them being friends is closed? Keivo said that the chapter is closed and he won't talk to her until they leave the house.
About new HoH Abi, Keivo said she gets angry quickly. He likes to tease her a bit sometimes.
Keivo also told Biggie that he is missing shoes. Biggie asked him to describe the shoes, and he does. He said that he will check everyone's suitcase and locker and if he doesn't find it, he will disturb people tonight.
When Keivo walked out of the Diary Room, his team were busy with the Wager preparations in the Main Lounge. Yusuf and Araga mentioned that Sheba and Oyin did a good job on the outfit they are making for the Wager.
Barry is in the kitchen, cooking and Ricky is lending a hand.
4:00 pm – Wager prep continues
Away from the diary room, the teams focused on getting their props ready and fine-tuning preparations for the wager presentation.
Sheba, Flora and Oyin reflected on life in the house, with Sheba saying it is better to enjoy the experience than become too fixated on constantly creating content.
Keivo and Barry talked about their relationships in the house. Barry admitted he is not particularly close to Oyin, Araga or Nomy, but said he has started getting closer to Abi.
5:00 pm – The Gentlemen talk relationships
Aikou, Barry and Yusuf had conversation about relationships and personal boundaries. Barry said he wants to make more effort to be kind while still knowing when to draw the line.
The conversation moved to marriage, with Barry describing Neche as gorgeous before opening up about past relationships and some of his red flags. He said he wants a partner who is family oriented.
Aikou added that he values honesty and wants someone who fears God.
Outside in the garden, Abi spoke with Chimsom Chuka and encouraged him to calm down following his clash with Oyin. Chimsom Chuka insisted that Oyin had planned to pour water on his bed and walked Abi through the events that led to their argument.
He said he was not bothered by the incident, but accused Oyin of looking for trouble and content.
6:00 pm: Housemates receive the Colgate task
HoH Abi gathered the housemates to read out the Colgate task brief. The housemates selected their teams, collected their materials from the storeroom and began preparing for the challenge.
7:00 pm: Teams battle it out in the arena
The four teams headed to the arena and went head to head in the Colgate task, each hoping to come out on top.
8:00 pm: Team Colgate charcoal takes the win
The challenge ended in a tie between Team Colgate charcoal and Team Whiter smile, but Team Colgate charcoal was eventually announced as the winner. The winning team comprised Bells, Yusuf, Nomy, Keivo and Cassi.
9:00 pm: Tensions flare as eviction fears set in
Back in the house, Chimsom Chuka continued discussing his altercation with Oyin, this time with Yusuf.
Abi and Araga got into a brief shouting match, with Araga telling the HoH to learn how to speak to people. He also threatened to make her reign difficult and stir up trouble.
In the garden, Tram and Cassi paced as they talked about the possibility of eviction. Both admitted they do not want to leave the house this early, before turning to push ups to work off the tension.
10:00 pm: Abi calls out the guys over their conversation
Yusuf told Aikou, Ricky and Keivo that he feels Abi does not know how to speak to people. Ricky agreed, describing her attitude as one of, “What are you going to do about it?”
The conversation then shifted to how they chose teammates for tasks, but Abi overheard them and called the men out, accusing them of plotting against her.
11:00 pm: Ricky warns Bells about Yusuf
Ricky advised Bells that she may be getting too attached to Yusuf.
Later, Bells and Yusuf revisited the connection they had when they first entered the house. Bells admitted that she liked him at the time, before calling him about his apparent preference for older women in the house.
