Day 35 Live Updates: Five weeks in, housemates tell Biggie who they have become – BBNaija

News30 August 2026
Five weeks in, the game has tested friendships, shifted alliances and revealed new sides of the housemates. Now, Biggie wants to know how much they have changed.

It is another live eviction Sunday in the Show Ya Sef house, but before tonight’s tension begins, Biggie is turning the spotlight inward.

Five weeks into the journey, the nominated housemates are reflecting on who they were when they entered the house, who they have become and what they would leave behind if their journey ended tonight.

From eviction nerves and salon conversations to shifting alliances and some honest diary room reflections, here is how Day 35 is unfolding.

8:00 am: Eviction jokes meet the mystery of Keivo’s missing shoes

Biggie started the morning with music, waking some of the housemates from their sleep.

Eviction was already on Sheba and Chimsom Chuka’s minds as they joked about the possibility of a housemate forgetting to pack before being evicted, or accidentally leaving the house with someone else’s belongings.

The conversation quickly turned to shoes, prompting laughter from Keivo, whose missing footwear has already caused its fair share of drama in the house.

9:00 am: Salon conversations turn to motherhood and choice

The salon opened and Abi wasted no time heading in, with Sheba, Bluethopia and Temi Nkem joining her.

Bluethopia told the ladies that Chimsom Chuka appeared upset after she told him she does not want children. Sheba suggested he may have been hurt rather than angry.

Abi added that whether or not to have children is ultimately a woman’s choice, and the group agreed.

10:00 am: Housemates get eviction ready as Tram talks Temi Nkem

Salon preparations continued as the housemates washed, styled and groomed their hair ahead of the live eviction show.

In the lounge, Ricky told Tram that if he survived the night, Araga might be the one trying to break down the door to leave.

Tram also revealed that Temi Nkem had asked to speak with him after the previous night’s party. Despite the conversations around him, Tram maintained that he was not worried about eviction.

11:00 am: Sheba wants a conversation with Tram

Sheba approached Tram and told him she wanted them to talk before the live eviction show.

Shortly afterwards, Tram told Ricky about the request. He admitted that his first instinct was to decline, but decided it might be better to hear Sheba out.

Tram, however, made it clear that he was entering the conversation with his guard up and remained unconvinced about her intentions.

Once again, he insisted that eviction was not weighing on his mind.

12:00 pm: Bells, Aikou and Tram reflect on who they have become

Exit diary sessions began with Bells.

After five weeks in the house, Biggie asked her to describe who she is now. Bells called herself funny, smart and cute. Asked what she would leave behind if she were evicted, Bells said she wanted her name to remain on everyone’s mind. She also said she would leave her BB Bucks to the people she cares about.

Aikou followed and gave a more introspective answer. He admitted that the house has pushed him into situations he never imagined himself navigating outside. Some behaviours that once felt completely unlike him have become easier under the circumstances, leaving him questioning whether he knows himself as well as he thought. Aikou described himself as the same person from outside the house, but somewhat “dented” by the experience.

The conversation then moved to his Gambit mission involving Flora. Aikou said Flora’s sudden friendliness made him suspicious, especially because her behaviour appeared to mirror his own assignment.

He told Biggie that he suspects Flora may also have been given a mission involving him. For now, he plans to observe her behaviour before deciding his next move.

Tram was next and reflected on learning to adapt to circumstances he cannot control.

He said the house has taught him to “swim” through situations while remaining aware of what is happening around him. In his view, the women appear to support one another more consistently than the men.

Tram also believes clear divisions have developed in the house. He grouped Sheba, Yusuf, Bells, Araga and Goddessa together, while placing himself alongside Flora, Oyin, Sultex and Ricky. Calling himself a game player, Tram said this was partly why he chose to settle his differences with Nomy.

He also revealed that dancing with Goddessa at the previous night’s party was intentional because he knew it could provoke Araga. On Sheba’s request for a conversation, Tram said he would listen but was unlikely to believe what she had to say because his opinion of her had already changed.

Asked what he would leave behind if evicted, Tram kept it simple: he came into the house alone and would leave alone.

1:00 pm: Exit diaries continue with nerves and Gambit revelations

Oyin told Biggie she was nervous and had been overthinking since Cassi’s eviction. She admitted that five weeks in the house have changed her mindset. She came in focused on having fun, but now sees the experience differently. If she leaves tonight, she believes Flora, Sultex, Tram and Bells will remember her most.

Araga said he is still the same fun, people-loving life of the party he was when he entered. If evicted, he believes he would leave behind his sportsmanship, his care for Goddessa and his friendliness.

Nomy told Biggie she would not particularly miss anyone in the house and is simply rolling with the punches. If she leaves, she hopes people remember how she represented herself through fashion and her craft.

Gerard said the experience has made him more comfortable in his own skin and more self-aware. If he leaves, he said he would miss his friends and being part of the house activities.

Flora also gave Biggie an update on her Gambit mission with Aikou. She said the task has been easy because she already suspects Aikou was given a similar assignment. According to Flora, she has managed to divert his attention and is enjoying the mission.

Ricky said five weeks in the house have made him more open to interacting with people despite naturally preferring to be a lone ranger. If evicted, he said that some housemates might actually be relieved because of how troublesome he has been.

2:00 pm: Housemates reflect on their journey ahead of eviction night

The salon closed as Sultex headed into the diary room. He told Biggie he did not like the energy he woke up to and also complained that his hair was not yet done.

Asked who Sultex is after five weeks in the house, he confidently described himself as a superstar and said he is grateful to still be in the game. If he leaves tonight, he believes he would leave behind good vibes, joy and his contributions to the wager tasks. He quickly added that he does not think he is leaving.

Temi Nkem entered next and was visibly excited after Biggie complimented her appearance. She described herself as talkative but reserved when necessary, adding that she thinks she is amazing. If evicted, Temi Nkem said she would leave behind several people she has grown close to, including Goddessa, Sheba and Araga, plus her beloved custard. She also made it clear that she hopes her journey does not end tonight.

Barry told Biggie he was looking forward to the live show and was ready for whatever happened. He said it took him about two weeks to settle into the house, but he has since become more involved in tasks and built stronger connections. When Biggie asked whether he was Barry the clown, Barry the chicken or Barry the eagle, he replied that he is all of them, explaining that different sides make up who he is. If evicted, he believes he would leave behind a positive impression both inside and outside the house.

Goddessa was next, with Biggie joking about her leg being “magically healed.” She laughed and credited stretching and taking things easy. Reflecting on her five weeks in the house, Goddessa said she entered as a confident person who was open to getting to know everyone. She believes that confidence remains, but recent experiences and conversations have made her more direct and blunt. If she leaves tonight, Goddessa said she would leave behind her voice, which has played a major role in several wager presentations.

Yusuf admitted he was nervous, as he usually is on eviction Sundays. Asked who he is after five weeks, he said he has finally found his footing in the house. He also admitted that puzzles are not his strength and said he wants to improve. On his relationship with Bells, Yusuf acknowledged that he may not be the easiest person to fall in love with because he often prioritises other things, something Bells has complained about and others have noticed. If evicted, Yusuf said he hopes to be remembered as someone who never gave up regardless of how he felt or what was happening around him.

Sheba closed the hour by admitting she was nervous about both the eviction and the conversation she had requested with Tram. Looking back on her five weeks, she said she entered the house believing she was a strong woman and now knows for certain that she is one. If she leaves tonight, Sheba said she would leave behind good laughs, memorable conversations and the connections she built in the house.

3:00 pm: Sheba and Tram’s talk turns heated

During his diary room session, Keivo told Biggie he was fine and still feels like the same Keivo who entered the house on Day 1. Asked what he would leave behind if evicted tonight, he said that his missing shoe would apparently be staying behind.

Bluethopia admitted she was anxious about the live eviction show, especially because she had not been up for possible eviction in the past two weeks. She reflected on how much she has learned from the arena games and other house activities, saying she now believes she can do better than she initially thought, particularly with acting and music. If she leaves tonight, Bluethopia said that the housemates will definitely miss her loud mouth.

Sheba and Tram finally had the conversation they had been putting off, but things quickly became tense.

Tram asked Sheba what loyalty meant to her and told her he hated feeling as though his loyalty had been taken for granted. He accused her of being short sighted and only looking at things from the perspective of the house, insisting that he never intended to play games with their friendship.

Sheba pushed back, saying she had stayed true to herself and accused Tram of going around the house speaking badly about her.

Tram maintained that, from his perspective, Sheba had taken him for granted. He also said he felt disrespected because she called him for a conversation but did not give him enough room to speak. The exchange ended on an even more serious note, with Tram calling Sheba desperate to win the game, saying he had lost respect for her and now considered her an enemy.

4:00 pm: Live Show prep begins
For the ladies, Flora, Oyin, Nomy, and Bells, it was makeup time as they kicked off prep for the live eviction show.

5:00 pm: Sheba relays her conversation with Tram
While chatting with Goddessa and Temi Nkem, Sheba opened up about her conversation with Tram, what they discussed, and how she feels about it.

6:00 pm: Big Brother hands out warnings and punishments
After asking the housemates to gather in the lounge, Big Brother laid down the law over repeated rule breaches. Oyin and Chimsom Chuka were sanctioned for damaging or attempting to damage house property, while Abi and Keivo will miss the Pool Party for pouring water on their microphones.

Nomy was warned over repeated lateness, disobedience, and selective participation in mandatory activities. Sultex was placed on Behaviour Probation with a Final Warning over repeated threatening remarks towards fellow housemates — conduct Big Brother called "extremely dangerous." Tram and Yusuf were cautioned against similar behaviour.

As a house-wide consequence, there'll be no hot water for the rest of the week, and all communal areas must be kept spotless.

7:00 pm: Live Show begins
Sheba is crowned Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) and wins immunity while Sultex and Goddessa get evicted.

8:00 pm: Ebuka's table-shaking moment causes a fight
Temi Nkem's "local" jab at Flora and Oyin during the live eviction show hit a nerve — the duo started fighting as soon as the show ended, and it carried on straight after. Words flew as Flora and Oyin were livid.

9:00 pm: Sheba gives Temi Nkem and Araga a pep talk
With Sultex, their usual peacemaker now out, Sheba stepped in to calm Temi Nkem and Araga down. Temi Nkem wanted to head upstairs to change, but Sheba warned her against it, saying she was too weak. Araga told her not to go looking for a fight either, admitting he could still hear Flora's voice and would go pull Temi Nkem away if it kicked off again.

Sheba asked if Goddessa had already been evicted when the clash happened; Temi Nkem confirmed she had. She warned Temi Nkem that people would have words for her from now on — Temi Nkem shrugged it off, pointing out they already have names for everyone. "I just want you to be ready," Sheba told her. Temi Nkem said she was, and hoped the others were too.

Sheba also praised Temi Nkem for standing up for herself, admitting she couldn't imagine doing the same.

10:00 pm: Oyin airs her frustration and housemates receive their  wager brief
Oyin opened up about the "local girls" comment in a chat with Flora, explaining it came from Sheba not liking or understanding Tram's friendship with her and Flora.

Later, HoH Chimsom Chuka and Gerard read out the wager brief to the housemates in the lounge. This week's theme is The Switch — all about changing perspectives, trying something different, and looking at things from a new angle. For the wager task, Big Brother wants the house to put on a fashion show exploring the contrast between Old School vs New School.

11:00 pm: Wager brainstorming begins
Housemates got to work brainstorming ideas for the wager and debating song choices for their performance.
