It seems Araga and Goddessa cannot get enough of each other. The two are among the early risers on Saturday morning. Later, Araga tells Goddessa no matter what, he only has eyes for her.
8:00 am: Chimsom calls tired housemates for a meeting
It’s a slow start to the Saturday morning. The early birds are Barry, Ricky, Keivo, Chimsom Chuka, Goddessa and Araga. People are sleeping. When Sheba comes down from the stairs, she greets everybody and notices that Keivo didn’t respond to her. She checks him, he apologises for not noticing her.
Barry is in the kitchen cooking, Keivo and Sheba join him for a chat. About 20 minutes before 9:00am Chimsom Chuka starts calling housemates to come down for a meeting. “Guys, let’s gather.”
While everybody is downstairs, Nomy and Goddessa take their time to go to the meeting. About two minutes before 9:00am, they get up and Goddessa jokingly says: "They will beat me and you today."
Head of House (HOH) Chimsom Chuka reads the general cleaning rules to the housemates.
9:00 am: Araga tells Goddessa he only has eyes for her
After the meeting, Goddessa and Araga spend more time together. They talk about love interests in the house. specifically the ones that have to do with Araga. She tells him: "They need to pursue their love interest." She doesn’t mention anyone’s names. Ahe added: "I love them to chase you." Araga mentioned that someone has been talking to him. He tells Goddessa: "It's you I want."
Araga and Goddessa say it would be nice if Biggie could play some music in the house. It's like Sheba and Bluethopia heard them, as they sing and dance in the lounge while Neche, Kamsy, Barry, Cassi, Mercedes and Oyin watch on.
10:00 am: Oyin and Abi fight, Flora joins in
The heat is on between Oyin, Abi and Flora. Oyin and Flora were complaining about cleanliness. Abi chimed in, told them to leave the empty bottles and that she will clean the kitchen. Abi left and came back, she found Oyin and Flora still complaining. They exchange heated words. Chimsom tried to calm Oyin down. The other housemates arrived and found a fully blown argument. Bells and Keivo comforted Abi who began crying.
Flora is still angry with what happened earlier with Abi. She's in the bedroom with Mercedes, venting out. Mercedes is laughing. Cassi comes to the kitchen and asks Abi what the commotion was all about.
11:00 am: Team Nature discuss items for the shopping cart
Biggie announces that the shopping spree can start. The housemates gather in the lounge to list the items they want to shop for. The women (especially Temi Nkem, Neche and Mercedes) try to chip in with suggestions, but Chimsom reminds them that only the winning team can make the suggestions. Before the men leave to get the items, they ask: “Girls, is there anything you need?”
12:00 pm: Temi Nkem take on head chef role
Mercedes, Ricky and Yusuf are in the bedroom. They're talking about the Saturday Night Link-Up. Mercedes thinks many people's masks will fall off tonight. Ricky feels they need to make memories in the house. He said: "Let gin enter my body,” and Mercedes laughed.
Temi takes charge of the chef role for lunchtime. She's made noodles and sausage. She asked about everything: from which cutlery to use to how much of something she should pour into the pot. Sheba and Keivo hang around to help her. Barry came into the kitchen a little later and found Temi struggling with the sausages.
When the food was done, Barry calls the housemates to taste Temi's food. She asked if it's nice. Some of the housemates smell their plates as they take it. Sheba said the food is dry, Keivo agrees. He adds seasoning.
1:00 pm: Mercedes plays matchmaker
Mercedes was in a playful mood. She put Sultex on the spot, she asked him if he likes Bells and what he likes about her. When Sultex said he likes Bells, she said she's shipping him and Bells. Mercedes asked Bells if she likes Sultex and she replied yes. Flora sat in the room, just looking at them. Mercedes continued to ask all sorts of questions. Bells played along.
2:00 pm: What’s your type?
Flora, Yusuf, Mercedes, Sultex, Keivo, Oyin and Bells chat about relationships. Yusuf asked Flora what her type is and she said prefers tall guys who dress well. Mercedes then told them about her relationship status.
Chimsom and Gerard play table tennis together and have a chitchat about Gerard’s experience in the house.
3:00 pm: Chimsom talks about his hustling days
Oyin goes back into time, sharing about her first relationship. She told the housemates it was amazing, but men will always be men. She added that he would deny things and he would do grand apologies. Neche, Cassi and Gerard were gisting in the kitchen.
Chimsom told the housemates a story about when he didn't have money and had to cook to make money. He said he did business at the school and sold bread. Abi is by herself in the game lounge, bouncing a ping pong ball.
4:00 pm: Goddessa and Abi connect
Goddessa hang out with Abi and said: “I feel like both of us don't know each other well enough.” Later Sheba joins them for a short while. They talk about Bluetophia and Ricky. The conversation shifts to “fine boy” Barry and “dark chocolate” Yusuf. After Sheba stepped out, Goddessa talks to Abi about Kamsy and Bluethopia who came around 2am to gossip about her.
Abi and Goddessa also decided it was time for an honest assessment of the housemates after their first week together.
Starting with Kamsy, she admitted she wasn't sure the housemate had fully been herself yet, adding that if she liked someone, she'd simply shoot her shot instead of holding back. She also said she hadn't seen enough of Chimsom Chuka to form a solid opinion and would give him another week before making her judgment.
Goddessa described Temi Nkem as naturally inquisitive but still discovering herself and learning when curiosity becomes too much. Barry, in her opinion, has far more to offer than he's currently showing and has plenty of untapped potential. Gerard struck her as someone who would truly shine in creative tasks and came across as highly intellectual.
She praised Keivo as a genuinely sweet person who simply needs time to come out of his shell, while affectionately calling Bluethopia "mad" in the best possible way, describing her as a happy child who brings great energy to the house.
Neche, she believes, has the potential to blossom into a queen with the right partner. Sheba, on the other hand, is often misunderstood because of her strong personality. Goddessa also described Nomy as someone who refuses to back down easily despite being frequently misunderstood.
As for Mercedes? "She talks too much and wants too much," adding that Mercedes constantly demands respect. Turning the spotlight on Abi, she described her as open-hearted but often misunderstood.
5:00 pm: The salon officially opens for business
It's officially glam o'clock!
Head of House Chimsom Chuka read Biggie's brief announcing the opening of the salon and explaining how the grooming session would run. The moment Biggie declared the salon open, the housemates wasted no time racing in to secure hair extensions and begin their glow-up ahead of the night's festivities.
6:00 pm: Glam mode activated
The salon remained the busiest spot in the house as the housemates continued their transformations. Hair was being washed, braided and styled, while others got fresh trims in preparation for the Saturday Night Link-Up. With everyone determined to look their best, excitement for the night's party continued to build.
7:00 pm: Biggie says, 'Express Yourself'
The anticipation for the Saturday Night Link-Up reached new heights as Chimsom Chuka gathered the housemates to read Biggie's party brief.
The night's theme? "Express Yourself."
Biggie encouraged the housemates to embrace their individuality, show up in their own unique style, leave their worries behind and party like there was no Sunday.
The briefing, however, wasn't without its challenges. Chimsom Chuka repeatedly had to call the housemates to order as side conversations threatened to drown out the announcement.
Later, Araga and Goddessa reflected on the moment, with Araga maintaining that if he ever became Head of House, he wouldn't let the housemates make him lose his voice trying to keep everyone quiet.
