The Show Ya Sef season's first Saturday night link-up was one for the books, but with the fun came chaos, and today, Temi Nkem is focused on righting her wrongs.
08:00 am: Yusuf and Bells reflect on the night
As the housemates started getting ready for the day, Yusuf and Bells bonded over ironing. They also discussed Araga's altercation with Sultex. They were shocked to see Araga get furious, as he is generally quiet and reserved.
09:00 am: Salon time and Temi Nkem begins her apology rounds
Nomy and Abi enjoy time in the salon, and Temi Nkem seizes the opportunity to begin apologising to the housemates. She started with Kamsy, Oyin and Gerard, who accepted all her apologies. Kamsy encouraged her to speak to Martins, who she claims had no ill intent; Temi said she would, but he's likely last in line.
10:00 am: The apologies continue
Temi Nkem then moves on to apologise to Sheba. Sheba lets her know the importance of choosing her words carefully, as her choice of words in the heat of things were disrespectful. Temi agreed, and Sheba let her know all was well between them, advising her to do a general apology instead of individual ones.
11:00 am: Yusuf and Bells become a hot topic
In a chat with Nomy, Goddessa expresses her shock at Yusuf and Bells becoming a thing. Meanwhile, Temi Nkem continues her apologies; she approaches Mercedes, who was welcoming, to speak about last night. She then moves on to chat with Goddessa and Nomy, admitting to her wrongdoings. Goddessa lets her know where she went wrong after a touching conversation, and the two reach common ground and hug it out. Temi Nkem also uses the chance to fully resolve things with Nomy, and that ends on a positive note too.
12:00 pm: Exit diary sessions begin
The housemates head into the diary room ahead of tonight's lice eviction show, and nerves are visibly running high. Bells admits she's tired and stressed about the eviction, calling it a rough week overall, though she believes she's pulled her weight. She promises that if she survives, she'll open up and communicate more.
Barry says he's feeling peaceful despite a chaotic night of games and arguments after the party. He doesn't feel he's done enough to be safe, admitting he's bonded more with the guys than the girls so far. He singles out Flora as "real," and says getting to know her helped him understand Bells and Oyin better. He's still hoping to build stronger connections with Abi and Neche, and calls Bluethopia, Kamsy and Temi Nkem his closest friends in the house so far.
Abi feels like she's the only one anxious about tonight, and worries she hasn't made enough of a mark to be remembered. She says she's been a team player this week but plans to show more of her personality going forward.
Keivo calls his week "fantastic," but like Barry, feels he hasn't done enough to guarantee safety. He's enjoyed the parties and games so far and wants to push for HOH if he stays.
1:00 pm: Abi and Flora fight
Tensions boil over in the garden as Abi and Flora get into a heated war of words. Oyin, who had just come from a ranting session with Biggie about her own fight with Abi and Abi's general behaviour and attitude, seizes the moment to jump back in. The trio had previously clashed over cleaning duties, and it's clear the tension from that hasn't worn off yet.
2:00 pm: Diary sessions continue
Flora has a standout moment, telling Biggie that if she survives this week, her rift with Abi is far from over. Biggie advises her to make sure whatever she gets up to stays well within what's accepted in the rulebook.
3:00 pm: Diary sessions wrap up, and life continues in the house
Bluethopia is in high spirits, saying she'd want to be remembered for being loud and dancing if she left tonight, and that she's enjoyed the drama and love triangles playing out around her. Yusuf, however, is not having the best first week in Biggie's house. He admits he doesn't feel he's done enough to be remembered but vows to fight harder and show more of himself going forward.
