The ninth live show pushed the housemates through fear, confusion and finally relief as Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem were fake evicted.
Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem get fake evicted
The tension began when Ebuka announced Ricky’s eviction, followed by Tram.
The housemates were visibly shaken as they watched two of their fellow housemates leave, with the fear and uncertainty written all over their faces.
Biggie then took the twist even further by fake evicting Temi Nkem, leaving the remaining housemates wondering what exactly was happening.
Tram wins MIPOW
In the middle of all the uncertainty, Biggie announced Tram as the Most Influential Player of the Week.
With Tram supposedly outside the house at the time, Biggie said that he might have to receive his congratulations from outside.
Ebuka checks in on the house
This week’s house crossing was relatively light, with Ebuka choosing not to shake too many tables.
He asked Keivo about his back and forth with Oyin, and Keivo said they were good despite their issues.
Bluethopia was also asked about her mood, while Flora addressed her closeness with Aikou, describing him as a friend she enjoys playing with because he is funny.
Sheba was asked who she missed more between Tram and Ricky. She chose Tram, calling him her “gee,”while describing what she has with Ricky as just a little flirting.
When Ebuka later returned to speak to the housemates again, he noticed the cold reception and joked that he was only the messenger. He threatened to leave without giving them more gist, prompting the housemates to quickly beg him to stay.
Barry’s decision is finally revealed
After the fake evictions, the house was unusually quiet.
The remaining housemates sat in the lounge, still trying to process what had happened.
Biggie then reminded them that Ultimate Veto Power Holder Barry had been given the power to influence nominations earlier in the week.
Barry was asked to collect the envelope containing the two options he had been given: Immunity For All or Immunity For None.
He confirmed that his choice had been Immunity For All.
Moments later, Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem walked back into the house.
Sheba screamed as the housemates rushed towards them. Ricky became emotional, while Tram and Temi Nkem immediately went to hug Barry.
The Top 10 are officially finalists
Then came the moment they had all been waiting for.
Biggie officially announced that the remaining housemates were the Show Ya Sef Top 10 finalists.
Temi Nkem jumped up screaming before hugging Sheba. Bluethopia and Flora became emotional, while Flora and Oyin clapped through the moment.
Biggie encouraged them to take it all in and reflect on how far they had come.
The reactions were different across the room. Flora cried, Ricky stayed quiet, Aikou smiled, while Keivo appeared deep in thought.
Tram collects his MIPOW reward
With the finalists now confirmed, Biggie officially congratulated Tram on winning MIPOW.
He stepped up to spin the reward wheel and walked away with BB Bucks, and for his BetPawa Elite Reward, he won a portable speaker.
From fake exits to the biggest reveal of the season so far, live show 9 took the housemates from panic to pure relief as the Top 10 officially booked their places in the finale.
