After Ogaga's heroic rescue on the night of her kidnapping, Serome found herself drawn to the dread-headed Berserker. She was captivated watching him wrestle in the fighting pits, her admiration deepening with each passing day. Desperate to see him again, she turned to Odiri, who devised a daring plan: Serome's waist beads would be delivered to Ogaga through Akpevwe, with instructions to return them at a secret meeting spot deep in the forest.

A dangerous encounter in the forest

As the meeting approached, Serome wrestled with uncertainty. She knew the Ovie had promised her hand to his right-hand man, the Okakuro—a man she felt nothing for. But with Odiri's reassurance, she took a bold step. Disguising herself in Akpevwe's clothes, she slipped away to meet Ogaga.  

When she finally stood before Ogaga, it was as if time stood still. Their connection was undeniable. As he gently placed the waist beads around her, their emotions surged. Sweet words turned into lingering touches, and soon, they could no longer resist the chemistry between them. A single moment of passion unfolded as they kissed and got intimate. It was a moment they both cherished; however, unknown to them, a hunter had spotted Ogaga putting on Serome's waist beads for her and hurriedly reported the incident to the Ovie.

Summoned before the King

The lovers were brought before the Ovie, accused of dishonoring tradition. Serome was betrothed to the Okakuro, yet she had been seen in the company of another man. Serome and Ogaga denied the claims, insisting that Ogaga had just returned her lost waist beads. With no solid proof, Ogaga was released but warned to stay away from Serome and focus on his wrestling. Serome, however, was confined to the palace, forbidden from stepping beyond its walls.

Serome was devastated by her punishment. However, Ogaga remained unshaken. Will fate bring them together again, or will their love remain forever forbidden?
