The tension between Queen Ivieigho and Odiri on Uriri was always bound to end in disaster. As the King's wife, Ivieigho despised Odiri, the concubine who had publicly claimed her husband's affection. Odiri comes up with a deadly plan
Determined to make the Queen pay, Odiri sought out Mudiaga, requesting rat poison under the pretense of ridding the palace of rodents. Sensing something sinister, Mudiaga warned her that every action has consequences, but still, he handed her the poison. With her weapon in hand, Odiri laced one of the Queen's drinks, carefully placing it in her chambers.
The Queen's Final Moments
Returning to her room, Queen Ivieigho sipped the poisoned drink, unaware of Odiri's deadly scheme. As she berated Odiri, a sharp pain gripped her, and she went into labor. A midwife was called in, and after agonising moments, she delivered a baby boy. But just as life entered the room, death lurked in the shadows.
As the Queen lay weak and alone, Odiri seized her moment. She whispered her final words before forcing the remaining poison down the Queen's throat. Moments later, Ivieigho breathed her last. With her deed done, Odiri took it upon herself to inform the Ovie of the Queen's untimely death.
