Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, widely known as Iyanya, brings star power and showmanship to the Nigerian Idol judging panel this season. 

The Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer first captured national attention in 2008 when he won the maiden edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa. He quickly rose to stardom with his infectious hit "Kukere", introducing the Etighi dance craze and cementing his place in Afropop history. His sophomore album, Iyanya vs. Desire, produced a string of chart-topping singles, including "Ur Waist", "Flavour", and "Sexy Mama".

Notably, he became one of the first African artists to successfully complete a 15-state North American tour, selling out venues like London’s O2 Arena and Brixton Academy in consecutive years.
